Rubber pipe is a rubber product that has the same properties as rubber. In use, storage, and transportation, it is inevitable that some damage will be caused to the rubber pipe. If you don't know how to maintain the rubber pipe, it will age faster. So, how to maintain the rubber pipe to prolong its service life?
Rubber pipe has the advantages of non-toxicity, environmental protection, physiological inertia, resistance to ultraviolet rays, ozone resistance, high and low temperature resistance (-80℃ to 300℃), high transparency, strong rebound force, compression resistance, oil resistance, stamping resistance, acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance, flame retardance, voltage resistance, conductivity, etc., which are not possessed by other types of pipe materials.
Rubber pipes can be widely used in industries with harsh working environments such as supporting electrical appliances, electronics, furniture equipment, toys, hardware, sports goods, etc. They are not sticky to many materials and can be used for isolation purposes.
During use, first determine the nature of the medium that the rubber pipe will transport and whether the rubber pipe can bear this medium. For example, if it is necessary to transport oil, then the EPDM rubber pipe cannot be used, and the nitrile rubber pipe with oil resistance must be used. Also, during work, try to avoid dragging the rubber pipe, which will cause damage to the external layer of the rubber pipe. In addition, the working pressure should be within the limit range, otherwise it will cause damage to the material of the tube body. At the same time, it cannot work in humid air or water for a long time, which will also accelerate the aging of the rubber pipe.
During storage, first empty the inside of the rubber pipe, especially do not let corrosive acids and alkalis and other substances remain in it; do not excessively bend the rubber pipe. Although the rubber pipe has a certain toughness, it is also limited. If it exceeds the level it can bear, the service life of the rubber pipe will be greatly shortened. In addition, the storage environment should be dry and ventilated, and stored in a cool place. Water, light, temperature, etc. are one of the factors that cause rubber aging, and rubber pipes are also made of rubber, so they are equally applicable to rubber pipes.
During transportation, first avoid excessive bending of the rubber pipe, and do not let heavy objects press on the rubber pipe. In addition, do not mix pipes with acids and alkalis, organic solvents and other substances to prevent these substances from reacting chemically with rubber. Avoid placing the rubber pipe near sharp objects to prevent accidental scratches.
