In most cases, we can roughly identify the quality of the PVC steel wire pipe according to the sense of vision, smell, touch and so on without any detection tools and conditions.
1. It can be done by observing whether the lumen is regular and whether the wall thickness is uniform. The inner cavity and outer edge of the high-quality PVC steel wire hose are evenly distributed in the standard circular annular pipe wall. Take the PVC steel wire pipe with an inner diameter of 89mm and a wall thickness of 7mm as an example, the thickest part of the pipe with poor quality can reach up to 7.5mm at the thinnest part and the thinnest part is only 5.5mm. Working under high pressure, it is easy for the pipe wall to bear uneven force, which results in the explosion or deformation of PVC steel pipe to affect its normal use.
2. It can be done by observing whether there are bubbles in the wall of PVC steel wire pipe or whether other visible objects are colorless and transparent. The wall of the high-quality PVC steel wire pipe is crystal clear without any impurities. However, the yellowing defective PVC steel wire pipe may be caused in the production process due to improper handling of decomposition, aging or long-term improper storage.
3. The high-quality PVC steel wire pipe has no smell of other petrochemical products except a little plastic smell. However, there is an unpleasant and pungent diesel smell of the inferior steel pipe, people can't get close to it especially in the hot summer.
4. The inner and outer walls of high-quality PVC steel wire pipe are smooth while low-quality pipes are rough.
5. The two ends of the PVC steel wire pipe should be cut off when measuring the wall thickness, and the middle pipe should be selected as the sample for testing to prevent some illegal manufacturers from making inferior goods by making both ends of the pipe conform to the standard while the actual wall thickness thinner than both ends of the pipe.
6. At both ends of the PVC steel wire pipe, several centimeters are repeatedly folded to detect the strength and toughness of the steel wire. Poor-quality steel wire will break after one or two folds while the wire of a high-quality PVC steel wire pipe needs special tools to cut it off. The quality of the steel wire determines the quality of the whole pipe. The PVC steel wire pipe is prone to irreversible deformation due to the quality problems caused by steel wire.
