Instantaneous fire hose coupling is a good solution for water supply. They are made of male coupling and female coupling. The plunger mechanisms inside female coupling are controlled by springs . There is a groove on the male. The plunger and groove forms seamless connection.
Instantaneous coupling is assembled to fire hose. In general, female BS336 fire hose coupling is connected to fire nozzle and male coupling is connected to fire hydrant or fire pump.
